I am in the process of scooping up the names of pre-2000 players - can you help?
Also some history of the formation of the club would be handy
Billy Webb informed me that he started playing at the church hall, Henstead Rd, in 1978/9. As membership increased it was decided to split and some went off to Old Hall School for a short while. When the high school opened in 1980 they moved and stayed there.
Linda also said that there was a Tuesday morning church hall group too, and she is not sure if this group formed the embryo!
Perhaps we can add more to this early detail
